Un/comment in toolbar or shortcut

Is it possible to edit items in the toolbar, in order to add the un/comment option there? Or may one set a shortcut to it?

Having to right-click every time I need it, is cumbersome

Keyboard shortcuts can be set and customized in Tools > Preferences > Shortcuts.
