Just since 12.10 update (even the last nightly build), I'm getting this error. After closing heidisql (portable version), every session and setting got lost, and I have to import my last saved settings file.
Error message and settings file corruption after every cvs export
If that did not happen with previous versions, I suspect it's related to international characters in your session settings and filters, and/or to my addition of UTF-8 BOM support for query files. Although that should not happen with portable settings, which are always stored in UTF-8 without BOM.
Please update to current build 7006, which adds the technical type of that vague "Invalid source array" message.
If your portable_settings.txt file does not contain critical things, you may send it via email (see link on the imprint page). On the other side, HeidiSQL fails to store the critical stuff, so it is likely not included anyway. But I'm quite unsure yet.
Ok after updating to 7007 version the issue is not gone, but eventually a little more clear: when I try to export grid rows in csv and with UTF8-8-BOM encoding everything goes well, when I change encoding to UTF-8, the error alert is not showing anymore, but after closing and reopening the app the portable _settings file become corrupted/empty and it's necessary to import a previous saved settings file.
@dario I think I got it fixed in build 7008. Would be nice if you could update and test again. The settings file should no longer be broken or empty after grid-exporting.
Also, your initially reported error "invalid source array" should be gone, although I'm not 100% sure about that.
Ah, and I created a dedicated ticket for this, see issue #2085
