Not a Valid Donor Address

I'm just wondering why Heidi is now showing the Donate button and "Not a valid donor address'?

My email hasn't changed. This a problem with the server?

Maybe your donation was more than 5 years ago? There was a grace period for such old donations, which did not fell under the current policy (1 year valid below 50 EUR). That grace period is over now :)

If you email me with your donor email address I can tell you more exact what happened.

So basically everyone who supported you earlier has got kicked in the teeth and asked to send you more money? Of course I appreciate the software takes a lot of work, buy still, not really a good idea to turn a donation into a subscription. I'll have a think if I want to donate anymore or maybe I'll use something else.

Note that new policy with 1-year-valid-below-50-euro is already several years old, so this is not something new.

Donations are still voluntary. The only difference is you see that donate button on the top. Please see that as a consideration for providing continued updates and quality support. I don't intend to kick someone in the teeth.

After 20 years of development, I still do this in my spare time. I don't earn enough to give up my regular job as a web developer. I'm already too old to do two jobs at the same time, so I'll have to choose one of them and give up the other.

Understand. Heidi has been a great addition to anyones dev setup for years. Great software. You do an amazing job. Apologies for coming over a bit insensitive.
