Putty and HeidiSQL, unknown option "-legacy-stdio-prompts"

Hi,

my colleague downloaded version 12.11.0.7065 of HeidiSQL.

With the updated version he can no longer connect to the database server as Putty gives the following error:

unknown option "-legacy-stdio-prompts"

Any ideas? Br. Jyri

Did he use the installer?

The v12.11 installer ships a newer plink.exe which is aware of that legacy-stdio-prompts argument. Please verify the version of C:\Program Files\HeidiSQL\plink.exe is 0.83.

Hi, I have same problem today. First I'm using prev versio (12.10) and find this error, then I'm updating to 12.11 the error still here. Some days ago everything was OK. Local DB work well but all of my remote bases have this error.

@TRIAL same applies for you: ensure you are using plink.exe v0.83 from the installer.

I've changed SSH tunnel from putty.exe to plink.exe from drop menu and its working
