Search function for columns

Hello everyone, I would like to have a search function for columns within a table. I work a lot with tables that have more than 300 columns. If you are looking for a specific column, it is always difficult to find it and you often have to scroll back and forth a lot. Is there a solution for this that I simply don't know about or is this feature missing so far? What do you think, would that be a good function? Markus

In such wide tables I would recommend to hide most columns, and show only those you think are relevant. The columns dialog lets you filter columns by name, show and hide columns:
