English disclaimer on the "Imprint" page is gibberish :D

Just ran the German disclaimer through Google translate and it gave me this back:

Despite careful control of the content, I assume no liability for the content of external links. The operators of the linked pages are solely responsible for their content.

What you have there is rather confusing. After a few reads one might guess the true meaning, but I think that for such a legal kinda thing, it should be as clear as possible.

I apologise in advance if I'm committing a faux pas in mentioning this.

While I'm on the subject of the "Imprint" page, I think it should also be:
"Person responsible for content according to..."

Again, quite sorry if I'm overstepping!!

I'm Portuguese and have been living in the UK for the past 18, going on 19 years.
But I got proficient in English in my infancy.
From the age of 6 to the age of 11 I resided in Canada, Quebec, Montreal.
From that experience, at such a young age, I learned/sponged English and French quite well.
