Autocomplete error in Ubuntu

Hello, I have a problem when using the autocomplete feature while writing queries. As you can see in the attached image, when I type the dot after the table alias, I expect to have an autocomplete with the column names just below, but it appears on the top left corner and also the rest of the options are hidden in a vertical black line below. When I use the arrow keys, the options appear and hide in this black line.

I'm using HeidiSQL 12.16, but I noticed it in HeidiSQL 12.15. I'm using the Linux 64 bit Debian package on Ubuntu 24.04.

Thank you.

Just to clarify, it happens on both versions: HeidiSQL 12.16 and 12.15.

Yes, that's a known issue I think with the QT* builds, reported in issue #2405 and issue #2372 . Sadly I cannot do much to prevent that. But if you go through the comments you will probably find a workaround for a better positioning.

The GTK2 build does not have that issue - but some others especially with dark mode. Also, GTK2 is going to be removed from the Debian repos, so I consider it as deprecated.
