Please check and disable the font size settings

  • in Tools > Preferences > General
  • and in Tools > General > Grid formatting.

But I deliberately increased the font size because I have poor eyesight

In that case you should prefer to increase the scale in your global settings, not in HeidiSQL. Please

  • reset that above mentioned font setting in HeidiSQL
  • go to Windows system settings > Screen > Scale (set to a higher value than 100%)
