HeidiSQL installer versione slow application opening on Windows Server 2025

Hi, I installed HeidiSQL 12.17 on a server machine with Windows Server 2025 OS. I noticed that the application launch time is very slow (> 20 seconds) and I can't figure out why. With the portable version HeidiSQL_12.17_64_Portable, however, this doesn't happen.

Could you help me understand the reason?

There are several possible causes for that.

One thing can be auto-connected SSH tunnel sessions, which take some time. Another possible cause is the automatic tab restore. Or the auto-update check, when you have no internet connection. Et cetera pp.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have tried to disable automatic tab restore and the auto-update check but nothing changed. The SSH tunnel is disable at the moment Also consider that the Mariadb and heidiSQL run on local machine.
