Is it possible to search within currently opened query tabs?

Hi,

another question that came up between my boss and me: He asked whether it is possible to search within the currently opened query tabs.

He keeps all of his query tabs open and reuses them, which leads to a lack of clarity (who would have guessed).

Long story short: is it possible to run a text search across the open queries, or should I just tell him to use snippets instead?

No, you can only use the search/replace dialog for one editor or grid.

The snippet idea is of course an alternative.

Or, if you just use unsaved tabs and restore them each start, use a text editor to find in the tab backup directory: C:\Users\myuser\AppData\Roaming\HeidiSQL\Backups\

While I think my boss's query usage is quite extensive, I can understand the wish to have a search across tabs.

When using Ctrl + F in a query, there is already a "Search in" field. If this could be extended with an option like "Search all query tabs", that would be very helpful.

If you think this is feasible, I would be happy to create a feature request for it.
