Is it possible to link the query tabs to the open database without too much effort? For example, I have 10 tabs open, but only 2 of them correspond to the current database. The remaining 8 are taking up unnecessary space.
(Sorry if there are already threads on this topic; I couldn't find them using the search function)

In HeidiSQL you cannot link a tab to a database. Tabs are just editors, and the tree on the left side tells you where you are running queries from that tab. I know there are database tools which link tabs to databases, but in HeidiSQL the approach is different.
Please note you can connect to multiple servers in one window, and the tree shows them all, but in any case you always have exactly one server or database or table or whatever focused, and that is where you run queries.
