Default Field Type on new field creation

Good day.

Upon creation of a new field within a table, the field type defaults to TINYINT.

Is there any way I am able to change this default to a different type?

Besides from taking the sources of HeidiSQL and implement something for your needs, there is no way to adjust the pre selected datatype.
