Help please... Newbie.. [host' not allowed to connect]

I already install the HeidiSQL and MySQL
my friend already give the username , Hostname, and Password
But. all i got is always like this..



I know that this problem have already been posted, but when i open it. idk what to do.. sorry.. i'm so new wit this things.. but i really need to use this program..

I pass Firewall and Norton.



Please need help..

The message "... is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server" says that the server is giving you the message, not the client computer. So it's definitely a problem with your user account on the server. I guess he associated your account with a specific hostname or IP. If you want to connect over the public internet he has to edit your account. For example he can do so with HeidiSQL:
- Go to Tools > Usermanager
- Click on the "Edit users" tab
- Click on the relevant user
- Push the button "Edit user ..."
- Change whatever is put into the Host field to "%":
