HeidiSQL software not appearing on my screen when I start it up

Just downloaded and installed the most recent version of HeidiSQL. When I run it, it appears in my Windows task bar at the bottom of the screen, BUT the main window of the program does NOT appear on the screen.

I'm running Windows XP. Any ideas?? unhappy

Heard the same issue recently from another user. You can try and delete registry values before starting:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HeidiSQL\windowstate

Restart HeidiSQL and update to the latest build (Help > Check for updates), so you get the fix for this problem I have recently committed.

Thanks, I deleted the HeidiSQL windowstate registry value and restarted the program. Didn't work though, I have the same problem.

I already have the latest build since I just installed the software. unhappy

If you installed you have the latest release, not the latest build.

Could you please try to rename the whole "HeidiSQL" registry key and see if it starts then? Or probably you need to reset the other 3 or 3 "window*" values.
