Tabs As Spaces

Currently Heidisql inserts real tabs when you hit tab in the SQL editor.

It would be good to have the option to have insert tabs as spaces.

ie. Under the following preference setting

Tools / Preferences / SQL / Tab width

have a checkbox for: "Insert tabs as spaces"

What do people think?

In the Tabs vs Spaces religious wars, I belong to the Tabs party. But I guess it's an admissible feature request since almost all editors out there offer it.

Hm, yes I also for tabs, but I'm afraid you're right when you say all editors offer that option.

I think I'll reorder groups in Preferences > SQL tab, so font, tab width, proposal activation and that new "tabs to spaces" checkbox go into a new "Options" group box.
