Is it possible to use HeidiSQL to connect to a Google Cloud SQL instance? I have Google's JDBC driver but don't see where I can configure/use that within HeidiSQL. Thanks.

no, it is not possible; access it via google´s command line client, java apps or eg. SQuirrel SQL only.

Yes, It's possible.
On your Google Developers Console, go to Storage->Cloud SQL->Access Control and on Authorized Networks add a new using your ip address.
Then click the button to request an IP and set a root password.
It's done. Open your HeidiSQL and be happy!!!!

Tried this but I get an error :
"Can't connect to MySQL server on <ip-address> (10061)". Couldn't make it work.
Any ideas ?
I am behind a proxy, could this be the problem ?
Can anyone else confirm that the solution provided above works ?
