Export Live Data for Excel Dashboard

Hi All,

Is there a option that I can export live data (every 10-15 min) to a xlsx / csv file so I can create a live dashboard in excel

or is there a sql reporting software that I can use to grab the data out?

I have accomplished this using Excel ODBC (external data) connections to a MySQL database and optionally, some VBA code. I can help you get it set up, if you would like. The only additional software you would require is the MySQL ODBC drivers, which can be freely downloaded. Although I love HeidiSQL (and I usually use it to compose and test all my SQL queries), you do not need it to accomplish what you describe.
