Export Database as SQL - settings

When I want to export a database as a SQL file it seems that Heidi doesn't remember my settings any more.

I use Tools > Export Database as SQL and I want to check the Drop and the Create options for tables. The Create option is always OK but Heidi always 'forgets' to tick the Drop option. This is a problem because I will often forget to make sure that it's checked the box.

When I do check the box, the Drop!! text comes up in bold with exclamation marks as if it's a warning that I'm doing something wrong.

I must include the DROP TABLE IF EXISTS instruction but why won't Heidi remember this? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help!

That's intentional. The drop checkbox are quite critical, and there were some users not wanting to have their state restored if checked.

Well I can understand that, but different users work in different ways. Would you consider having an option to Save the settings so that we can choose?

Thanks for a great product, by the way...;-)

Probably with a registry hack, but not with another checkbox option.
