SSL Connection Require and Use SSL

The question I have is this.

Can I setup HeidiSQL to require and use SSL, but ignore cert handshake?

I can do this with a JDBC driver, but I don't seem to be able to do this in HeidiSQL. If not built into HeidiSQL is there a way I can have HeidiSQL use and JDBC driver?
