Grid editing bug

I am using HeidiSQL on Windows Vista (sorry, can't help it). For quite some time (I think a year or so) I regularly experience HeidiSQL hanging after editing a value in the data/result grid. This hanging makes HeidiSQL permanently unresponsive, though it does not generate an exception dialog so I cannot send you more details on this.

The hanging does not always happen but it mostly happens when exiting the grid field by cursor arrow keys. E.g. you type F2 to edit, change value, press enter and then arrow down. Or you edit the field and then just press the Escape key to revert. Somehow the issue never seems to occur when editing a field and then clicking the mouse pointer on a blank spot outside the grid row.

After killing and starting HeidiSQL again when it becomes unresponsive I always see the changes have not been persisted in the database. I therefore guess this is a UI bug. Tickets #20502 and #10222 may concern or result from this same issue.

I tried reproducing this on Windows 7 but it seems to never happen there.

Hope you can fix this because it is quite annoying. Thanks anyway for the great program.

Could be some message dialog which is hidden due to some error. But as you say the issue is only sporadically I guess there should never be a dialog saying "Update failed due to privilege error" or something. However, I have no Vista for reproducing that issue, so I can only recommend using the mouse instead of keyboard here.
