Hi,

In the data screen when you change a value for null Heidi is putting setstatus = 'null' the correct status =null

That's because you just wrote "NULL" as a string in that field. For setting NULL you need to right click the cell, select "Insert value" > "NULL". Or press Shift+Ctrl+N.

If I recall correctly, it was already this way in good old MySQL-Front (the father of HeidiSQL) somewhere in the early 2000s. What you suggest would make it impossible to insert a literal NULL text in a column.
