Auto restore of filters and sorts

I like the feature that HeidiSQL remembers filters and sorts. But when a filter or sort is automatically re-applied to a changed database or one that is very big, it can take minutes before I can continue. Is there some in between system possible, where they are remembered but not applied automatically?

No, that is currently not possible. Though that's a good idea. Probably worth a ticket in the tracker.
