Add a line, change the view to the first column

In the text editor when you add a row it automatically moves to the first column, does anyone know how to disable that option? Normally I add and copy several rows to just change the date in one column, but it is problematic to have to move to the last column each time to do it.

That depends on how you are "adding a row". If you press Enter, you are of course in the first column, right?

Please clarify what you mean, probably with a screenshot.
