Yes, sounds right - but that depends on your Windows version and theming on/off and Aero on/off. |

but at Designtime, they were all set to be clbtnFace |

At designtime in Delphi there are surely many things which look different, especially when Aero or theming comes into play. All VirtualTree controls are set up to use Windows theming, which is probably causing the difference you're talking about. |
