basic tab of table editing
1.add new column
2.set default value to null
3. save --> does not let coz it is not checked allow null

it would be logical that 3 would be done automaticaly upon action 2.

Yes, agree. The other way around is already implemented, when you uncheck "Allow NULL" - the default value is auto-changed from NULL to "no default".
