Since HeidiSQL is neither a library nor a command line utility, what exactly do you plan to accomplish?

(Said that, a VB6 forum would definitively be a better place to ask stuff about, well, VB6.)

If you are too daft to understand what was already mentioned above then you are definitely too stupid to work with a database. HeidiSQL has nothing to do with whatever nonsense you are trying, you need the ADODB layer to handle VB6-to-SQL interaction.
