Ads were blocked - no problem. But keep in mind that developing HeidiSQL, user support and hosting takes time and money. You may want to send a donation instead.

Hello, new here. I just installed latest MariaDB 10.6 version from official MariaDB page, windows 10 x 64.

When open first session with HeidiSQL the following error shows:

"libmariadb.dll could not be loaded.Select a different one"

Session opens only when using libmysql.dll on the Library window choice.

Shoul i be using libmaria.dll with MariaDB?

How to fix error?

Hello again. Nevermind, i fixed myself.

I uninstalled MariaDB, install again but without Heidi this time.

Then downloaded Heidi from official page. Install it on default location: Program Files\HeidiSQL and it worked!

MariaDB installer used another location for Heidi. That's what caused the problem... :)
