Can't open SQL after install

Hello,

I had an older version of HeidiSQL and tried to update to the last 12.2 version. The install is successful but the app is not opening. I replaced the build with more from 12.x, nothing new. I had to install an older 11.3 version to use the app. I am on Windows 11. How can I fix this because I don't the 11 versions from the installer page. The text is blurry and crash very easy.

Thank you,

Sounds a bit like issue #1696.

Does it somehow crash or is there just nothing happening at all?

Could you check with the Task Manager if heidisql.exe is running in the background?

I have the same problem, Heidi does not open, but in Task Manager I can see every time I try to open it that the service Windows problem reporting starting for a few seconds, but no error appears on the screen.

I would recommend to have a look at the Windows event log.

It does not start for even a second so I can't see it in Task Manager.

I confirm I also went back to 12.0 and works. I will just sit it out until they release a new version that works on win 11 :)
