memorize all runned queries (formated) - regardles of query window

I would like to have that. Like in file, not to load memory with stuff.

Ok you have status window at bottom but that is a pain to find anything. Besides it is mixed with other stuff it is all in single line and hard to find what one wants.

Upon click somewhere, or something, window would pop up with history of formated queris, order by DSP DESC.

Writing that coz of frustration - even if I know in which query window it was, CTRL+Z does frequently eats everything into oblivion.

Please have a look at the query history in the upper right toolbox of each query tab. By default, HeidiSQL remembers all queries there, including the date time when it was executed.

I don`t have this toolbox. How can I activate it? :)

You don't have the query helper box in your query tabs? Hard to believe :) See attached screeny of what I mean.

One of my colleagues from work does not have that helper box and it`s so awkward because no one knows how to activate it. :)

The right edge looks as if the box was minimized previously. Try to move the mouse over the right edge until you get the horizontal sizing cursor, then drag it to the left.

Ok, Donald... :) This must work:

  • exit all HeidiSQL instances you are running
  • start regedit.exe
  • navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HeidiSQL\
  • doubleclick the value queryhelperswidth to edit its value
  • click "decimal", and change the value to 100 e.g. (this is the with in pixels)
  • click ok and restart HeidiSQL, and have fun.
