getting "Auto-storing tab setup failed every hour or so

Just downloaded the latest 10.2 reliable release June 15, 2019 and now I'm getting this every hour or sooner and eventually Heidi just closes by itself:

Please update to the latest build, I recall I fixed some issues with regard to that tab storing some weeks ago.

other than the main 10.2, the others say they may be buggy?

Yes, they may contain other bugs, that's right. But they also contain fixes, e.g. one which solves this issue. You can update through HeidiSQL > Help > Check for updates.
