Just thought to comment on the lack of support for the BOOLEAN data type. Earlier I looked up a discussion on this topic and found Ansgar's rationale, i.e. preference to avoid hiding underlying details. From a coder's standpoint I must agree. It's better to know what happens under the hood but do users really care? All they want is functionality, details are irrelevant. So, given that other editors support BOOLEAN wouldn't it make sense to add its support as an option? It's definitely not a critical issue. Maybe time permitting?
By the way I must add how much I appreciate Heidi. I've been a long time user and supporter and from time to time have looked into other SQL editors out of curiosity. By now I know nothing will come even close except for marginally phpmyadmin and only because of its browser interface which allows access remotely and from other OSs. In terms of usability phpmyadmin is sort of klutzy but it works well and I keep it around. So kudos to you Ansgar, well done, and thank you.
