Can not use \G at the end of "show slave status"

Error occurred when i use the "show slave status\G" to show the replication's status,but it works in the mysql console.Really weird.

"\G" is specific to the MySQL console. HeidiSQL requires the semicolon as query terminator, and does not support the vertical output which \G produces in the console.
