HeidiSQL crashes all the time

I've been using HeidiSQL for years now and it's always crashed on me pretty regularly, maybe 1x per day. But lately it crashes on me nearly every query I make. It's very close to completely unusable. Attached is the error report.

You're using the 5 years old v9.5. Please update to the current release v12.3. Not sure if that fixes the above error but very likely.

Can't believe I didn't notice that. Just downloaded 12.3 and really like the updated interface. Hasn't crashed yet! Thanks for your help.
