Why wrong format display for char(128) for version newer
then installer 3.0.

Beside it will be great to display the data for "WideMemo",
it will be ok to display partial of the data, mainly for quick view.

I think the same issue.

Hope someone can improve on this limitation, because
not convenient to view the data.

I understand, as explained here http://rfe.heidisql.com/618 , the reason this is done. However, I too desire to stay protected AND view my data. Personally, I'm okay with the change. At least there's no extra mouse clicks involved as I only need to divert my eyes down a bit to see my data.

I too would welcome the change to have it so we can view data within the field, so long as safety/security isn't compromised and it doesn't cause remorse/headaches for whoever codes it. :P
