SQLServer bit data type displayed as "True" in result grid

So when selecting a column of data type bit of a SQLServer table, in the result grid, the data is shown as "True" or "False" instead of 1 or 0.
If I double-click on "True" twice, it turns into a 1.

So this can be very confusing, especially when you don't know the column is a bit column. you would probably think this is a varchar column that has string "True" as its data. and why double clicking twice turns "True" to 1 ?
