Auto-storing tab setup failed

Error message "Auto-storing tab setup failed. Unable to write to..." keeps popping-up. I think this is because multiple instances of Heidi are trying to write to the same file. Is it fixable? Is there a workaround? Thanks.

I'm afraid the only way is to disable the auto-restore feature in that case.

I already have code for working with multiple instances in HeidiSQL but this still does not work as expected. Unfortunately on my own installation this works as expected, just not on some others out there, including yours.

Are you talking about the option Tools\Preferences\Files\Reopen previously used SQL files and unsaved content in tabs ?

May be a good solution would be to write tabs just from one instance (first opened) and ignore others (lock flags)?

Yes, I meant that option.

And indeed, that approach may not satisfy everyone, but would be very ok I suppose.
