HeidiSql doesn't start anymore. How to export/import settings?!?

HeidiSql doesn't start anymore. I tried reinstalling, which failed. Then I tried the portable version, which works but now ALL my settings are gone. I cannot use HeidiSql to export my settings because it doesn't start.

I exported this key (and all its sub-keys): [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2268936408-395858947-3620660115-1001\Software\HeidiSQL]

But, when I try to import that in HeidiSql portable, it doesn't import anything.

Probably the window is just somewhere outside your screen.

I deleted the window position entries and it started again. Why did this get corrupted? Why doesn't HeidiSql detect this automatically?

Good question. I have already worked around that, but this seems not to be rock stable yet.

You did not probably make a screenshot of the broken values, or remember their values? I am just trying to set broken values by hand, but whatever out-of-range value I set, the session manager and main window are both always visible.

Oh you probably have a backuped .reg file as you said so in your first post, do you? Could you post the values starting with MainWin and those starting with SessionManager_ ?

I have 4 monitors, but this was the profile I had when I ran HeidiSql: Primary = 3840x2160 with coordinates ( 0, 0) - (3840,2160) Secondary = 2560x1440 with coordinates (-2560,362) - ( 0,1802)

Maybe you get confused by the fact the monitors aren't aligned how you would expect?
