Export sql file "disappears" in Vista

Here's a weird thing:
I've just changed to Vista Ultimate and installed Heidi 3.2 (rev 1129) I was exporting a remote MySQL db into a text file locally and in a rush I accepted the default folder c:\program files\heidisql\ and the default filename export.sql

When I looked, the file wasn't there... so I tried to do it again and it said, "Do you want to overwrite?"

So I looked in Windows explorer - file not there. Opened command prompt and it wasn't there either. Opened Textpad and opened the file, no problems.

So, the file is there. It's not hidden. It's something to do with the restrictions of writing to c:\program files but I still haven't figured out where it is.

Any ideas anyone?

Pete

Found it...

C:\Users\---user---\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\HeidiSQL\

That's virtualisation in action apparently.

Oh nice... Probably also a bad default directory. Could be better the user directory.
