I ran Windows updates last night, (ran this update June 8, 2021—KB5003637 (OS Builds 19041.1052, 19042.1052, and 19043.1052)) and now I cant open Heidi. I have the latest version, 11.3.0.6295 64 bit version.
I see it running in my task manager but nothing opens.
Anyone else experiencing issues?
Heidi not opening after latest Windows update
I had the same issue. Uninstall Reinstall didn't make it.
I solve it by doing the following:
- First export my config,
- Then using regedit, delete the following register key: [HKEY_USERS\<myid>\SOFTWARE\HeidiSQL]
- Finally, reload my config.
Hope it will help some.
@ansgar: If needed, I have keeped the buggy regedit conf.
