Proposal: Find/ replace across multiple procedures/ functions

Hello Ansgar, IMHO it would be very helpful to have an option to search (and replace?) text across all procedures/ functions of current database (especially if you write a bunch of MySQL procedures/ functions to do in database processing and you have to rename tables or something like that). I know this could be dangerous... Therefore, this should be an extra option in the find and replace dialogue which should be switched off by default. Best regards, Lutz

Wouldn't it be the easiest way to export your procedures and functions into an .sql file, then use a text editor to change what you want, then reimport that file again into an empty database?

Exporting and importing works - but it's quite a bit laborious :-/ "Bazaar trading": How about implementing only the find functionality? ;-) L.

The "Find text on server" dialog has support for procedures and functions since recently. Only in MySQL mode yet.
